Yoga has been practiced for over 5,000 years and is a genuinely healthy discipline that will aid your health and well being.
Traditional Hatha Yoga is a holistic program, combining physical postures (asana), purification procedures (shatkriya), poses (mudra), yogic breathing (pranayama), and meditation. It is also recognized as a stress-reducing practice.
Hatha Yoga is one of the two branches of Yoga that focuses on the physical culture, the other one being Raja Yoga.
Raja Yoga is so-called because it is primarily concerned with the mind. Considering the relationship between the mind and the body, the body is initially conditioned through self-discipline and other means such as Hatha Yoga, before deeper aspects of yoga can be pursued.
At Naas Yoga and Physiotherapy, we focus on Hatha and Raja Yoga programs with classes in the mornings and evenings.
